This project, Rosalind Sallenger Richardson Center for the Arts, is a collaboration with Paul Russell, assistant professor at Clemson and proprietor of Russell Design Office. The 65,000 sq. ft., $20 million project will house theatrical and visual arts instruction, performance and gallery spaces and will permanently display two Chihuly sculptures. The site program includes courtyards, outdoor art display, an outdoor classroom, and amphitheater. Wantland Ink was pivotal in the design development and construction documentation process. Within days of on-boarding, we established the finished floor elevation and requested the floor-to-floor be increased by 2' for a more tailored integration within the overall campus, changes which were also confirmed by the contractor as having saved costs as well. The project is slated for completion Spring 2017.
