The owners of this small, Franklin, Tennessee, farm wanted to transform their property into a family haven for their 4 children. An addition by architect Van Pond spurred the idea of a new pool, while a desire for a place where many different play activities could be consolidated resulted in a full-size tennis/play court. A complete landscape overhall for the 7.5 acre site also includes revised horse paddocks and fencing, a entry, drive, arrival and service court, rear patios and terraces, a fire pit, and spa. The integration of these elements into the vernacular farm landscape is the primary goal.
